i swear i tried to be good about utilizing my blog, but as expected...i fell off. However, I swear i'll try to be more consistent! It's so hard for me to dedicate time to sitting in front of my laptop between work and school.. and everything in between. But recently, I was reminded why I ever even started blogging. I started blogging to create an outlet for myself. And more than ever, I need an outlet to channel out not just emotions.. but my thoughts, lessons learned, ideas, memories, etc. So with all that said, let's do some catching up. =)
last quarter of 2010.. babies! babies! babies! Baby showers.. then came the babies! In September Miles was born, October Riley was born, November Ryden was born, & in December Charlie! OMG! can you say baby boom?! Never thought this phase of our lives would come so soon... but these babies are absolute blessings! I love them..and wish there was more time in a day just to be around them. <3 In December, one my closest friends tied the knot w/ her hubby. I have to admit, Nina & Brian's wedding was the first and only wedding I have ever cried.. Yes.. I CRIED. I believe at some point I wept.. wether or not the 7 bottles of champagne had anything to do with it, I am so happy for them! They're evidently so in love, and for that reason.. I let my wingman go! lol. It was such an honor to be a bridesmaid.. and crowned the queen of all wasted bridesmaids. Not to mention, I caught the bouquet at her wedding. How do I feel about that? No comment. Anyways, I ended 2010 with a bang..yes, you guessed right! A grand finale trip to Sin City. I celebrated my friend Vanessa's 30th bday alongside with some of the most insane girls in my life! However, I cannot disclose anymore details of that trip. =)
2011.. has been absolutely wonderful to me! I started my year in the east coast! Washington DC, New York, & Virginia! Although it was freezing, I had a blast! <3 Mid-January, I went on what I believe may be my last snowboarding trip in Lake Tahoe! I kid you not..I go snowboarding every year, and I never ever get any better. =( But this time around the battle wounds stayed with me a little longer than previous trips. I was sore and miserable. Although I love the rush of snowboarding.. going what feels like 100mph down a slope with absolutely no idea how I'm going to stop, I don't think I can do it anymore. bOO! getting old sucks. Since then I've been slaving away to all my duties and responsibilities. I have a few upcoming trips that I'm really looking forward to! Updates to follow =)
